Leading up to my second back surgery in July 2019, I honestly didn't think I would ever be able to do this (or any forward fold) ever again.
Be honest, are you the kind of person who doesn't like to stretch before and/or after a workout?
If so, you are slowing your progress down! Increasing your flexibility also increases your range of motion - which is very important when trying to gain speed, strength and endurance.
I have been doing special stretches since I learned them 20 years ago and truly believe it has majorly contributed to my flexibility. I teach it in my live classes, but I'm thinking I'll put together a bonus guide to include in my groups from now on. What do you think?
