UPDATE: Hi all, now that the CDC has recommended that we all wear homemade masks in public, I am getting a lot of requests for individual orders. While I am thrilled with the response, I didn’t anticipate it, and it’s just me sewing weekends and evenings. Currently I am struggling to keep my commitment to match mask for mask in donations by sheer volume and workload. I believe it’s important that we all have the ability to protect ourselves and others whether you are a mom or a grocery store employee. You are all serving your community in your own way. Maybe by using homemade, reusable masks we can also reserve a few medical grade masks for our healthcare heroes, and I hope that I can still help by making these available to those who cannot sew. Rather than donating masks, going forward I will be donating 20% of all mask sales to Feeding America, an organization that helps supply meals to children and families in need.
Remember there is also a link in my profile to a mask pattern and tutorial that I am using if you’d like to make one for yourself!
Thank you all for your support and peace be with you! Hugs, Bev. ✌️🌎❤️
